Rename a Excel file

I have to rename the file with Excel name and current date and time.how can i do this ?

Use the required excel name followed by using & NOW

we can not give the now value in Excel file name because excel does't support the special character like ":" value is coming in time
so could you please suggest any other idea ?

You can use FormatDateTime() method to format the date time accordingly.
Something like this: FormatDateTime("01/02/2003 4:54:44 PM", "dd MM yyyy HH-mm-ss")

As @sreejith explained it correct, get the Current date and time value using Now() and format it and use this value in excel filename.
