I need to read a date from a PDF File.
I have modelled the application from Chrome.
The Bot doesn't extract any value.
Is it possible to set the resolution of Blue Prism so that I can read the date?

Hi Camilla,

The Region needs to be correctly drawn in order for the text inside it to be correctly read.
If the border of the text box is also captured in the region while spying then it won't pick the text. So you need to draw and re-draw the region until you can correctly capture the dates. This has been recommended by Blue Prism.
In your screenshot I see that the blue vertical lines may be interrupting. So you might have to separately capture the 1 then the 6, then 0 and so on and then concatenate all these data items together to form one single date. Make sure you do not select the "giomo" in the region.

Mine cannot capture the number properly.

For instance,
dfcr1-(NON SSH UAT BESS24) will read dfcfl (number 1 return as small L) while BESS24 to BE5525 (Capital S to 5).

Based on the above recommendation, a separate regions for 1 and 24? Wow!
