Hi All

I have data items which get populated from excel. In these items I want to mask the customer name and phone number so that I don't see them in session logs.
How to mask the items. Any help around on this topic plz

In case for masking if you are using calculation stage or any other stage try to disable the logging for that stage.

Thank you sachin. But can we do something with padleft under utility strings. Or these two different concepts

Yes if you are using Padleft under Utility String there is also option to Disable the stage logging.

I am now using a multicalc to update fields in a collection. if I am stage logging "disabled" in the properties. I guess that applies for all fields. is there a way for select fields that I can do.

Hi Chakavarthy,
Then just do one thing use two multi calculation 1- for that you want to log the data 2- for that you want to hide from log. and then move to next work.

If stage logging is disabled for one stage it applies to all the actions in it.
So create a separate calc stage for the one which you do not want to log the records and disable logging for that.
