How to check for unresponsive web pages

I have a question
I have process that is search news from web, but search time is too long, usual about 30min~45min.
I used Wait Step to check the web is completed or Exception, but sometime it will be responding, so that the Wait Step is run 45min.
So, how to check for the unresponsive web pages in Wait Step?
Is there a solution?
