How to Launch a specific Excel File from application modeller

Hi All,

Is there any way to launch specific excel file via application modeller and spy various elements of that excel sheet?
Or, is there any way to attach specific excel file and then spy the elements of that excel sheet or any pop up that is given by excel in case of error?
Please suggest.

Hi Sanjesh,
Try this.
Application Modeller > windows based application > Application already running > give the title of the window.

U need to attach and detach the excel while performing this use case.

Hi Sanjesh, to launch an specific Excel file you follow the normal application modeler steps. Then you launch excel with a navigation step, BUT in the inputs at the bottom of the window in the field "command line params" you specify the location and name of the excel file you want to open, with quotes (") at the beginning and end of the string.
